  • Technology Integration, Using Web 2.0, the Tools Kids Know So Well:
    This is a hands on course in what is known as Web 2.0. Become adept at a wide range of engaging on-line tools that students find engaging.   • Teaching and Learning in Virtual Worlds:
    In this course participants will explore a variety of 2D and 3D virtual worlds including those designed for children. You will examine research and theory about games and simulations and their pedagogical implications, consider the social, interpersonal, cultural, instructional, technical implications of virtual worlds, and draw your own conclusions about the potential for using virtual worlds within your teaching situation.     This is a hands-on course in the implementation of a technology rich curriculum. This course will answer the two questions I am most often asked about technology: 1.
